Congratulations! You've graduated to the "new you". I am a 9 year survivor of breast cancer, and great attitude toward life is your secret to survivorship. The five years will pass fast, also ask about a follow-up two years on Femara, kind of pricy even on insurance, since there is no generic, but it is supposed to keep it from coming back!

Femara, Arimidex and Tamoxifen are follow-ups ONLY if your tumor was hormone positive. The idea is to remove any hormones left in your body.

Fantastic! Here's to many, many years of good health and happiness!

Isn't it amazing how many new posters post on this subject. I had not posted until the threads with breast cancer came up. We keep it to ourselves until we can help someone else. We are all able to support each other. Aren't we GREAT!
