thank you for the praise. the boxes are quite easy just take quite a while to make. the handbag went along quickly once I got into making the squares. We do have wonderful vibrant colours here. The brocade actually came from Japan. Have a nice weekend everyone. Topaz-spain

There are 20 squares in the purse and each one is sewn as a complete unit before they are joined together. I don't have a shop but the boxes have been so popular that I have made some orders for friends and neighbours that need a gift for a special person. Thank you for your interest and kind comment. Thank you. I only recently finished making the handbag and as the main fabric was a birthday gift brought back from Japan by a friend, I will keep it. I have 2 boxes - the first one I made and the other is made from brocade given by that same friend.
A lot of work in each of those items. I will probably make another bag and todate have made 18 boxes ...... some for special gifts and some ordered by friends and family and neighbours. The box is ideal for all ages, for sewing and jewelry. Topaz-spain
