Oh my, things happen so fast. Hope it heals perfectly.

Dropped an open cutter on my foot when barefoot. Not pretty. Now wear shoes when cutting.
Hope you heal quickly.

Several years ago I did that too. I was very tired and should not have been cutting, but did. Friend took me to ER...they glued on the piece I cut off. It took a while to heal. That finger is a little mishapened...but it works....

Sounds like that has to hurt a lot! May be it time for one of those finger guards that protects your finger from just such accidents. Of course Klutz Gloves wouldn't hurt either. I make use mine are tucked under my knuckles so this can't happen. Hope you have a speedy recovery. :-D :-D :-D

been there, done that, have the scar to prove it. Like you no way to stitch it. I just wrapped it and then wrapped some more til it stopped bleeding through. kept it that way a few days. has healed very nicely. Needless to say i keep a close eye on that cutter.

OMG i am so sorry and hope you feel better soon. Pls let us know in few days how you are doing.

I just about did that to the same finger last night. It cut into my fingernail but I stopped in time. Tiredness causes so many accidents. I sure am sorry for you and I hope you heal quickly.

there is a klutz glove that is real good for people like us. made by fons & porter, sold at joanns. use a coupon.
great investment and not difficult to wear and work. this is also nice for pressing so you do not burn fingers either. Just saying.

The more I read, we could all make a slasher film. Yuk, blood & meat everywhere. I have almost done this a few times but I am more app to sew my finger or get it caught under the presser foot when I should be paying more attention. Note to self, go to bed & don't sew or cut fabric when you are toooooooooo tired.

I am going to check out this klutz glove thing. Thanks
