My rule: Do Unto Others as You would Have Done Unto You.

New Rule: Take better care of me so I can live up to first rule!

Thank you, very well said. Something I need to work on.

"just because you think something, does not mean you have to say it."

If I cant say something nice, say nothing at all. I always try to see the positive side of everything.
I am pretty frugal, but I need to do ALOT better!

Oh, and Gossip...I hate gossip. Will NOT join in at work or anywhere....never makes me feel good to see someone cut someones throat from behind and SMILE at them when they are there.

Was going to say Golden Rule, also.
Have another one it is so easy to do = Open mouth, insert foot.
Happy New Year 2011, Quilters.

I try not to gossip. I try to smile even when there's nothing to smile about. I try NOT to shop on Sunday.
Most important rule, I try to remember that I'm not in charge.

All discussions have two sides---try to see both.

Don't gossip and don't hide gossip under the quise of "concern"

Lips make a good couple---keep them together.

Laugh several times every day

Act silly for the sake of acting silly several times a day

and most of all realize that some people take a long time to mature, and some of us just absolutely refuse to even acknowledge the concept. LOL
My body may wrinkle and sag
My hair may turn silver and gray
My teeth may be replaced with store-boughts
My eyesight may go by the way
But my smile will stay cheery and bright
My laugh will be laughed with might
and though my outside may shout "I'm old"
my inside will stay young and bold.

I want to make people smile, or even laugh out loud every day!
One of the best things about my marriage is the laughter. We laugh together every day.
I try to smile at people everywhere I go, and sometimes start a conversation with a stranger who looks in need of some friendly human interaction. The older I get, the easier it gets.

:D :D :-D

To Thine Own Self Be True
(Not easy, but I try & even trying harder the older I get!)

Choose to be Happy.....(& I do)

Because Nice Matters.... (It really does, you know!)

And, I love this, & very true too!

Always remember... "Those who mind don't matter, &, those who matter
don't mind".....
