My mother-in-law who was ambidextrous, said it would pull out fine and cut fine if used with one hand better than the other. It has been a long time, but I think she said she could control it better with her right hand doing the work (pulling & cutting). So you lefties out there having trouble might want to try doing it with your right hand. And if the righties are having trouble, try it with your left hand. Hope you understand what I am trying to say LOL.

Me, too! But then I watched carefully as a friend used a clingy wrap to cover leftover sandwiches. She was quite clever. She began by pulling ithe wrap out of the box with the sandwich plate close by. She took the edge of the wrap in her hand and placed the edge a bit beyond the plate, but meanwhile she was careful to have it cling on the edge of the plate. Then she measured enough to cover the plate and THEN she cut it off from the box. It worked wonderfully well. I now do the same. I hope you can understand the directions. Why didn't I think of this eons ago?

hmmm! Well, as I live and breathe. Putting cling wrap in the refrigerator/freezer. Learn something new every day.

My solution to Saran wrap is Press and Seal. I won't ever buy the other stuff. Every once in a while I get a funky box of the P and S but it works better than anything else. IMHO

Put your plastic wrap in the freezer. Once the wrap is cold it will not stick to it's self.
