school apron
Does anyone have a pattern for an apron made in home ex class circa late 1940's? As I remember it had a square bib with 2" shoulder straps with a slightly gathered skirt on a waistband and had large patch pockets.

Look at the patterns such as McCalls, Simplicity. I have several patterns from them with a variety of patterns in each one.

Google can be your best friend when looking for patterns. I just put in the search box "free apron patterns" than clicked on images. Look from there. If you see one you like just click on the picture.
Here is one I found quickly. http://5berriessewingpatterns.com/fr...attern-sewing/ |

Can you make your own based on your description? Any of the other patterns that you can adapt? I can adapt most anything but would need a picture to start with. :)

Send me a link to the picture and I can make up a pattern for you. :)
Just looked on pinterest and there are lots of pictures that come up. Some have waistbands and some don't. Here is link to a pattern listed on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Wingeo-Victori...+apron+pattern |

Here are a couple of patterns that will do what you want. The only difference I see is that the bib on your picture is higher and you can cut that higher when you cut out the bib. You can make any skirt longer or shorter simply by deciding what length you want and cutting the skirt longer when you lay out the pattern.
