I am so in awe of cake artists. I get pretty excited if I get a can of frosting smeared around on a cake without making a mess.

ginnie6 08-26-2009 07:15 AM

I looked at several of the cakes and loved them all especially the sewing machine and the cases of Pepsi.

Mousie 08-26-2009 04:39 PM

you think the gold and the silver icing is edible? I wouldn't know what to do with it. It's too pretty to eat. I'd at least have fifty pictures of every angle first. :D

Thanks for showing us the picture - and all the others, too. I wonder why the fascination with American $100 bills? The Euro is worth a lot more right now! I guess the $100 is easier to counterfeit

fluffbug95 08-29-2009 08:47 AM

Our daughter likes to watch those amazing cake shows, they can really come up with some very life like cakes. They are truly AMAZING!

C.Cal Quilt Girl 07-25-2010 09:43 PM

That a WOW'er, I was thinking how sweet it looked as a real machine, Looks so real! But cakes ok too... :)

Kas 07-25-2010 11:58 PM

It's edible, but tastes terrible. The silver stuff and the red. My friend was given a red Coach bag for a cake and the real one to match. The cake was good, but the icing had that yucky red food coloring taste. The kids were so excited to eat the gum paste buckle and such, but they spit it out. So there you go. I haven't gotten that detailed with my cakes. I usually just do drawings of what they (my kids) want.

jemma 07-26-2010 12:13 AM

that is true art-- special in every way--take lots of photos do we know who made it?

Rainy Day 07-26-2010 01:16 AM
