We spend a lot of time walking in the woods. You never know who is lurking about out there.

Nice....It's better to be safe than sorry!

I plan on putting at least 200 rounds through a few targets soon.
One day we hope to own some property where we can have our own private shooting range.

Nice weapon. I got my license in '95 or 96' when the law was passed to legally carry. Before that, I carried a 38 special in my glove box even though it was illegal.

A very nice piece you have there. I was carrying a S&W 38 and boy was it heavy I now have a Ruger 38 Special it is so lightweight. I have had my permit for a couple of years now.

Love it! Congratulations!

I'd be afraid that I would shoot myself, or someone I loved by accident.

Nice. I was thinking about taking the permit to carry classes too. My husband already has his. Plus we are both avid hunters and we both have rifles and shotguns. I feel safer knowing that my hubby has it when we' re up at our cabin though.

Good for you -- I've been talking about getting one, too. First, I want to learn to use the rifles......so if that bear comes around again...............

I have a 38 and feel very comfortable with it. I got my permit to carry liscense about 5 years ago. My dh is a truck driver and I like the fact that I can defend myself.

I live in the country and have had to shoot a rabid skunk and a snake. I know how to use a gun and pray I never ever have to use it on a person, but, in this day and age, you just never know.

It would take the police 30 minutes to show up here, and I feel safer with my gun. My shed got broken into about 3 years ago and that really scared me because I was home. Who is to say next time it wouldn't be my house?
