I have had one frozen off, and also have just used ice, then a pair of sharp clips and snipped it off. Never came back.

Pat has me tie his off. Then he keeps the area covered with a bandaid and Neosporyn.

I have used an ice cube to deaden the area & snipped off with tiny sissors...no bleeding , no pain. :)

I have Kaiser insurance which won't pay for the removal of skin tags but if I want to pay $15.00 a piece they would remove them. You can bet I still have them.

I have had skin tags removed-both by freezing and the numb and cut method. I prefer the numb and cut-go to a dermatologist as these can cause other problems. Some of mine were between my legs and when the rubbed the rash was worse than the cure!

Between skin tags and moles by the hundreds, mostly on my neck and scattered almost everywhere, I've had to get only collared shirts with sleeves to help cover them. They are UGLY and depress me a lot! I, too, have had so many removed only to come back or leave white spots...tried freezing, burning, scraping, etc., etc. I am now in the process of trying to make friends with them as I believe they are here to stay. YUCK!

Nail clippers but it hurts. Just be careful that they are sterile and have someone else do it if possible. Easy for doctors to say don't worry about them but sometimes they are located in places that are impossible to ignore.

I have 5 under one of my armpits, they don't hurt or anything but I just don't like knowing they are there, they are ugly looking.....I'm too much of a wimp to cut them off, so I may try the tie off method. Anything specify I should use or know about prior to trying this? How tight do you tie them?

I have had them for 20 yrs!! I've found New Skin--looks like clear nail polish, but has meds in it. Keep coating the tag every couple of days, maybe once a wk pull it off--will take top of tag. Keep repeating it til it's gone & skin is healed. I had a huge one on my back DH did the coating for me--it took several wks, but no scar.

I had 3 removed from underarm. The lady gynecologist used a needed to numb under arm area.I think she was sewing a seam with that long needle. It hurt big time! Now I have 3-4 under my bra band & for sure, they're there to stay. never again!
