Please keep it on your side of the state line. Thoughts from Wisconsin.

So you see some snow would just help to lower the temp a bit for the next few hours till the cool change arrives. |
Please do not send it to West Virginia. We have had enough. I have taught all of my grandchildren that s-n-o-w is a four letter word and they have to spell it in front of me instead of saying the word aloud. As they've grown older they all get a kick out of Granny and s-n-o-w.

No snow here in NE PA, and that's fine with me!

no snow pleeezzzzz

Here in Montana we just received an additional 10 inches of the white fluffy stuff, that was on top of the 8 inches already on the ground. Course most places it is in long rows after the wind tried to ware it out. We are also blessed with below 0 temps, already -10 at 7pm. Happy New Year everyone.

Happy New Year to you too Grandma to 8. Your snow must have arrived. We have just had a cool change!!! Clouds in the sky, cool wind from the south. Heaven!!!
We are awaiting the arrival of our first grand child. Due to be born any day now. |
We could use some here. We've been getting a lot of water, but so much that it is running off. We need the snowpack here on the mountain

California here. No snow around these latitudes.
Send some, please. |
We got 12 inches last Sunday and it is still hanging around. Don't want or need any more.
|
We had snow yesterday and a little today too here in El Paso.

bluteddi, are you in the vicinity of the "Summit Triangle" in SD? I am west of that area. In the last two days we have 11" as of a couple hours ago, winds of 30-40 mph until Saturday mid-afternoon. Yes, I am catching up on small wall-hanging projects, and hopefully a lap quilt of "card trick" using purple Crown Royal bags.

no thanks .

We have more snow in Fargo than anyone would care to have.Would you belive the malls where all closed yesterday (friday) . They hope to open at noon today. They already tell us that we will have major flooding this spring, isn't that just great. We live where we are safe but it just breaks your heart watching so many people struggle.

We have about 3 feet in our yard in Utah! Will gladly share!

Where is the Summit triangle? My husband traveled North and South Dakota, for over 30 years and he never heard this phrase before..

Hi Nana, On I-29 approx 50 miles south of the ND/SD state line. There is a 'Coffee Cup' truck stop and just east of it is a small town named Summit. The weather is always different there. Blizzards are always worse, fog or ice or visibility is always worse, seriously. Once you get 5 miles any direction from there, the weather returns to normal. Thus many SD people have called that area the Summit Triangle. :-D Two years ago I spent over 4 hrs driving from Sioux Falls to Summit and ended up spending the night in a cafe booth with a lovely young lady I met; we didn't get dug out until 3:00 the following afternoon when all the truckers wanted to get moving. Visibility was still scary, but five miles west it cleared off (still lots of snow though) and I got home a couple hours later. BTW I've been to your Mill End Textiles---love it!
|
I love Mills End but am staying away right now, I have 18, 66qt. plastic tubs full of fabric, plus one heaped with UFO'S. right now I am using christmas fabric scraps to make pot holder, etc.

It's so beautiful & then quickly gets dirty in NYC. And the trash piles up. Yuck. My daughter said the snow in Vermont was pristine & sparkling.
|
Woke up this morning to just a dusting. It will be gone by noon. I like it up on our Mountains better anyway and they have a ton!!!☺

No snow here... had a LOT a month ago, and hoping that is it for the winter :D:D:D
