I am not a lover of snow---I live in Iowa. Our winters are long, cold snowy, and miserable. I sometimes wonder if living in a warm climate might be a little boring, but then maybe I should just give it a try. Our blizzards can be miserable.

snow is a lovely sight but it lasts way toooo long for me these days. |
Beautiful...I couldn't live without the four seasons....just love them all. Looking forward to winter....The snow falling, sitting by a crackling fire, snuggled in a lap quilt and quilting while watching football!! It doesn't get any better....does it? :D :D

We had major frost this morning. The gov says we can put our studded tires on Nov 1st here in Washington state. I hate to see the white stuff come, it's just not as much fun as when I was a kid over 60 years ago.

It won't last thru the weekend, we are going back up to the 70's on Friday.

It's pretty to look at, but way too early for snow. I do remember one halloween in NH where we had snow on the pumpkins - Grrr. I'm not ready for it, never am, but can't seem to relocate to a warmer state with granddaughter Zoe just 3 miles away, not an option. But to I gritch every winter - yes I do and I have developed it into a fine art. lol

I saw a newcast about your snow. It looked so pretty but then it always looks pretty if someone else gets it. I live in MA and we are due for a coating tonight. What happened to fall!

Always like the first snow of the season but not this early. Think December would be better.
