We have 2" of snow this morning and it's starting to really pour down again. I love to take pics of the snow coming down, during the dark, and of trees. Enjoy!

My Mom sent me pic's of Wyoming and Utah of snow coming down. My Dad is a long haul truck driver they weren't expecting to travel thru snow already.

clem55 10-26-2010 07:30 AM

I'm so glad I don't live there! It's interesting to read what the weather is like across the states.

You may not be getting any snow but watch out for them storms coming your way. It rolled thru here at 8:30am and there was a tornado spotted in the area.

MissTreated 10-26-2010 07:36 AM

We were supposed to get snow last night. It didn't materialize. I'm happy about that, the longer we don't get it, the happier I'll be. I know it's inevitable, but it really makes for a very long winter. Now if it would snow a lot, then get to about 25 and stay that way for the rest of the winter and not snow any more, then I'd be happy. Or, if it would snow only where there is no pavement or decks, I would be happy. Somehow I don't think any of that is going to happen.

amandasgramma 10-26-2010 07:38 AM

Just goes to prove....order TONS of fabric and sit back and quilt all winter!!!!! oh, yeah, you might want to get food, too. LOL

Chasing Hawk 10-26-2010 07:40 AM

Dee,

Neat nighttime shot!!

JanTx 10-26-2010 07:42 AM

It's beautiful! It's 90 degrees here in S. Texas and our air conditioner has been out for a week. If it's not fixed today - it's supposed to be - then we may be moving in with our son until it is. I was sewing and sweating last night - no fun at all. Well, the sewing was fun, just not the sweating.

The wind has died down, the temp. has dropped, and right now we are geting a much needed rain. It would be nice if the rain lasted for a couple hours, but hated all that wind.

cjomomma 10-26-2010 09:43 AM

Clem it's still raining here. Almost 5 hours of rain now.I'm ready for the snow!!!!

ruth c 10-26-2010 10:30 AM

IrishNY 10-26-2010 04:34 PM

It was 70 here today in upstate NY!

Robinlee 10-27-2010 10:50 AM

It's 30* here today in the Turtle Mountains of ND.........and very pretty actually. We have up to 15" of on the south deck arm of our deck, and 50mph winds, so blizzard conditions and if this keeps up, we won't be moving this weekend.

Latrinka 10-27-2010 11:02 AM

Doubt we'll see any of that here! Did have lil snow in Feb. tho!

craftybear 10-27-2010 11:03 AM

Dollysquiltingmom 10-27-2010 11:05 AM
