Some Utility Totes I Made Today!
3 Attachment(s)
After seeing a thread on this, I just had to make one myself...then two more, lol.
The two blue ones are made with a free pattern I found online, using 54" upholstery fabric. The brown one is made with a pattern I purchased online, made with 44" upholstery fabric. The pattern I used to make the brown one called for quilted fabric, but since I didn't have any, I used the 44" upholstery fabric that I had bought, by mistake, for the other pattern. I didn't realize that I had bought 44" instead of 54", so I set it aside and then went back to the fabric store for the 54" that I needed. When the second pattern arrived and I realized I needed quilted fabric, but didn't have any, I just used the 44" that I had set aside. Next time I'm out near a fabric store, I'll get some prequilted fabric, but until then, these work just as well! :-) Thanks for looking! |
nice totes to carry stuff to guild. Of course you can use for anything, but I think sewing first. LOL

Very nice bags. Why not quilt your own fabric and use that?
