Spot the Quilts!
 

How many old or new for that matter, TV shows do you spot quilts on. Can you usually name the quilt pattern? I see them all the time on The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, and Reno's Old Time Music on the RFDTV channel on Saturday nights. I was just curious. They have quilts hanging in the background when Reno is interviewing the musicians. Just thought ya'll might want to check it out. Nothing better than quilts and bluegrass music!:D

I agree with that ~ nothing better - watching Marty Stuart right now! & of course watched Reno before. I noticed the quilts right from the start and love that!

Gunsmoke keeps passing the quilt from Doc's recovery bed to whoever is sick at their home.

oh gosh i was watching an Italian detective show the other day and the floor in the building they were in would have made a gorgeous quilt. didn't get to see it long enough though.

Check out some of the old westerns (but you have to really be watching!!)

its not just the old shows/movies we have spotted them in.We spot them in commercials and the newer programs -Bones -NCIS and on the Disney channel and the Home fix it shows and recently when my GDs were here I spotted one on the Simpsons of all things.Also on a billboard for SPCA

Some of the Hallmark movies have quilts also.

My dd has a Wii game called Animal Crossing-City Folk and in the Able Sister's clothing shop there's a beautiful little quilt hanging on the wall.

I just watched Lonesome Dove on video, and saw a quilt that did not look "period". Looked rather new to me, but I couldn't really get a good look at it.

I have seen a 1930-s looking quilt in "Dances with WOlves".
