There is a remarkable yong woman that started "The Art of Encouragement" in 2008. She has a website up if you care to look. She takes in signed Cards and unsigned Cards all year long. For Christmas she sends a box of signed Cards to VA Hospitals all over the US & our Vets get a Card by their plate on Christmas Day. To begin with she asked for 450 signed Cards in 2008. She met that & increased the amt. for '09. Met that & for 2010 her goal was set at 10,000 Cards. I spoke with her on Wed. & I believe she has now met that amt. Such a worthy cause! Those now @ Walter Reed are so deserving also.

Remember there are many older veterans that would love to receive a card. Veteran hospitals and veteran nursing homes
will get you in contact with the correct info.

Let us not forget these older veterans.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to pass it on to my friends and family. Also - don't forget you can go online to:
www.letsaythanks.com/home and choose a card and Zerox will print it and see that it is delivered to a service person overseas. The cards were all designed by US school kids. There is no cost to you at all. This is good all year round, not just at holiday time, so bookmark it and send a card everyday. It only takes a minute and means so much.

this is not a correct address. I got mine back that I sent, with an explanation that you have to have an actual name on each one, not just to a recovering soldier. They will not deliver them.
