We missed the snow by about 50 miles the way the crow flies. Started just east of me. Please be safe out there and warm.

Sailsablazin I can just see you..lolo You be careful. ;o) Even tho WE don't have snow, (62 tomorrow!! in the middle of winter), I do feel for those that are battling the snow. I keep praying we get a bunch, I just love snow, (sorry). OKC just sent 6 or 8 trucks from OG&E (our electric) to the East to help with power outages. They left early yesterday morning. Any and all that live where there's so much, please be safe & warm.

I've been very nervous watching the weather! My DD just moved to Pa. in Sept. She's about 30 miles away from Philadelphia! So far, she has been fairly lucky to keep power and stay safe. It's Mom that has really been edgy!! My job! lol

We have been hearing and seeing reports on the news here in Australia about the snow storms that are battering parts of the US.

Stay safe, stay inside and stay warm.

Keep safe and warm. Get those quilts out to sew and snuggle in.

How interesting tracking the weather all over the U.S. But, members, why don't we all put our general location in our profile? I love to see where everyone lives.

I hate breaking records. Here in Allentown Pa we got 31.9 inches. That broke the record from the Blizzard of '96 of 25.9 inches. The weathermen really screwed this one up, they were predicting 6-12. We also broke the record of most snow in a single day with 30 inches, the record was 26 in '83. Luckily we haven't lost power and the winds are supposed to be dying down today. I think we'll be digging out of this one for days and I hate breaking records.

We got off pretty lucky this time. I came to work this morning and only a small section of road had ice on it, the route I go to work is never plowed or salted, which is crazy since its in direct route to more than one hospital. My daughter and son in law thought they were taking me to work this morning and I got up this morning and told them I can do it. They weren't happy but with the roads having little snow if any, ice will mess with any car. Mine at least has extra trachen just by hitting a button. Now as long as we don't get any today, which we aren't supposed to I'll be able to go home tonight. I work at a hospital and in my dept, if there is a chance your co-workers can't get in you have to spend the night, just in case.

I heard on the news this morning that DC was supposed to get another 20 in, I hope not they are having it rough already. My grand daughter sent me beautiful pics of lots of snow in WV, its pretty but not if you have to drive in it. Stay safe and warm everyone.
