Straight side toilet
I would like to hear from anyone that has put in a straight sided toilet. It looks like they would be easy to clean but I am hesitant because there aren't many to choose from. I really want one but I want to make sure I'm not making a mistake.

do you mean where most are rounded this is straight?
where would you find a seat for it? I have a handicapped toilet, but it looks normal and takes a normal seat. i guess if it looks easy, it whould be. have any pictures of one? I'll see if i can find one on google. |
i googled straight sided toilet. what came up was a tank with stright sides.
why should this be any different than a rounded one. the rounded one is only slightly rounded. i can't see any difference between them. Unless of course you are talking about something else than what was shown on google. I would ask a salesman about it if you're not totally comfortable with it. |
We have two of them. American Standard. My son has 4 in his house. They are fine and flush well and are easy to clean and are sleek sided. Of course if this isn't for you there are many other choices.

My daughter has one from American Standard and loved the first one so much they got another for their basement bathroom. The inside of the bowl is also easy clean. I'm just waiting for a sale so I can get one too!

As long as the seat is standard sized it would be great.

I googled it and found this review -- sounds like a winner:

Thank you all. Lynnie, the sides that run from the bowl to the floor are straight sides so they seem to be much easier to clean. American Standard only has 2to pick from and the rest are all the regular. I really really like them. Guess maybe I will take a chance.

Huh....learn something new everyday.
