We had so much rain this spring and my tomatoes have suffered because of being in the soggy ground. My house is on one acre so I have lots of areas for flowers, mostly perennials. I love working in the gardens, next to quilting it's my favorite way to spend time. And it's great spending time outside.

I'm also in central Ohio (Columbus) and this has been a rainier summer than I remember in a long time. Even some of my perennials don't look great. Oh well........ I'm with you though. I love working outside.

That cat loves to "help" in the garden. Right off the vine the grapes don't taste great, but when processed are wonderful. That cat once leaped off a car trunk for my shoulders. EEEK. I assisted him with a grab and toss and he went over my head and behind me. I know what cat claws can do. He wasn't hurt or even upset.
