Use it all the time for my nails, will have to try it on the cuts. Do remember hearing about this but had forgotten it. Thanks, "Dr." for the refresher course!!

I do this also, with a tiny piece of tea bag material. Have done that for 40 plus years.

I heard of this in the early 1970s from a teacher of belly dancing. She said that it would hold broken fingernails for a long time, or till she could get home to fix them.
I've tried to learn a lot of fun stuff, but became rather discouraged/irritated when I asked my then 5 year old son to "put some glue on Mommy's belly button jewel" and he did. He had been watching DH fix something or other, and put some of the glue on it. Took AGES for it to wear off!!!! Refused to be pulled/washed/soaked/forced off. And it showed when I wore a white blouse, it was my birth stone, a real big blue Sapphire Dh had given me for my birthday. DH thought it was a hoot, he got more fun from that than I did. He later had it made into a pendant, and snickered every time he saw it.

There is a product call "New Skin" made expressly for cuts. Unlike super glue it is almost as skin and will last ever so long and with out the harshness of the glue.
