Good for you and good of your neighbor to give it. We have a man we don't even know send home to us fresh trout, he cleans it and it is wonderful eating.

Thanks for all the replies. We shared it with family visiting up here from Southern California. Figure it was about $90 worth of fish (Salmon) after fillets all done.

It was a locally caught King Salmon. She'd gotten two and wanted us to have one of them. At $9 to $13 a pound fresh, that was a precious gift for sure. Hubby may smoke it. He just finished up fillet stuff on it. It stretched head to tail and filled half the counter on the left of the kitchen cabinet. WOW.
