Bless Lady Bird Johnson for trying to protect these and other beautiful wildflowers. Thanks for posting the pictures.

See the beautiful blue sky with those puffy white clouds? My idea of a perfect Texas day.

BEAUTIFUL PICS of our wonderful State flower - Thanks for sharing. You're right, they are usually really good in the Brenham area. We didn't get the good rains we needed, so they're not as nice as some in the past have been.

Our Young @ Heart Bunch from church is going on a day trip this Sat thru the Hill country from Liberty Hill to the Llano area, so looking forward to seeing some good fields on the way.

You obviously found some great spots & LOVE the pics.

Have a blessed day
Shirley

Love the bluebonnets. I am visiting family in East Texas this weekend and looking forward to the scenic 4 hr drive. Will be driving through the Denison/Sherman area. Thanks for the pics. They are beautiful.

Hi, quiltykitty. Thanks for the bluebonnet photos. They're blooming here, but we haven't had enough rain so they're small and not very plentiful yet. Since my husband's family lives around Howe, I'm sure they're enjoying them just like you.

I'd love to see a picture of your Texas attic windows quilt. I bet it's gorgeous. I have in mind to make a Texas quilt of some sort, but have too many UFOs right now to start on that. I've resolved not to start a new quilt until I finish up some of the ones already in progress.

And daffodils in Wales, fuchia in Scotland, plumeria in Hawaii, and fireweed in Alaska.
