It is amazing sometimes on Ebay. I have come across some great buys on Ebay over the years but there are always a few that think there product is rare & made of gold. They have their prices double or triple from the quilt shops plus the shipping is so far fetched it must be shipped from Mars! You wonder where they come up with their pricing

[QUOTE=Evie;7625614]It's either cotton flannel or chamois, it can't be both.

They said it was "chamois colored"and "chamois soft". If we could see this piece in person, and if we were fabric collectors, we might have a different opinion.
I see the bidding has been closed as of yesterday.

Whoa!! Unbelievable prices but some are older fabrics maybe not in stock anywhere?

Couldn't believe the condition of the fabric! Thought it was a typo or something. Who would try to sell such junk?

No offense meant but I think someone is saying antique and other fine words to pass off an old piece of dirty flannel. There's a sucker behind every bush and someone willing to take advantage!

I had seriously considered putting up a couple of my DH's worn out t-shirts - they are very very worn and full of holes - I thought they would go nicely with the torn jean look.

Well, obviously it wasn't that good. No one bid on it.

I have a whole lace dress, floor length with long sleeves, and can guarantee it's early 1900s. Might be worth a fortune on ebay eh? The ladies must have been skinny back then, 'cause the only thing it will fit nowadays is my broomstick. And the wearer must have been 6ft tall. Funny that I can't bear to part with it though.
