I would love to have some seeds from those weeds! :)

Weeds are in the definition, a weed is something that grows where it isn't wanted. Orchids in a pineapple field are weeds. These aren't weeds as long as you love them.

Really beautiful weeds. We have some 3ft high weeds in our backyard garden that are beginning to flower and hope they are as beautiful as yours.

Yes. And I wish mine didn't get spider mites! Anybody know how to deal with those? I notice that they are also afflicting all the ground ivy in my lawn. Not that I care about the ground ivy, just that if I spray the phlox and don't spray the lawn, the mites will probably just move on into the phlox again.

We always controlled spider mites with dawn dish soap. Squirting a bit in a fertilizer sprayer, finish filling it with water, then water the plants with it.

The definition of a weed is a plant growing where it is not wanted... if you want it there, it's a wildflower!! I have some stunning flowering plants that are most definitely weeds. I plant one, and suddenly they are everywhere! I love asters.

I love wild flowers. We had ageratum in the yard in GA I loved it my daughter thought is was just a weed. I loved the wild morning glories in the field across the street growing up the corn stalks, and we did have some phlox and wild daisies too.

I don't think there is a garden in the world that can compete with looking out over a meadow filled with wild flowers in the spring.
