OMGosh, great idea :-D

What a great idea. I am stuck with basement-burber carpeting in my quilt room
ha ha just don't get the two mixed up, you might have some crappy smellin floors if your not careful! My husband cleans the bathrooms and never puts the brush in the same bathroom when he is done. I am sure he would for sure get ahold of MY toilet brush and then complain that it was in MY area! You know men grab the first thing they find that will get the job done.
Thanks, hate what the thread does to the vacuum.
Thanks sounds like a great idea.
What a great idea thank you. I am tired of bending down and trying to pickup all those pesky things that seems to find themselves in the carpet
This is a blessing, thanks so much!!!!
Thanks so much. I have hardwood floors but still get the threads all tangled up. So simple a fix. Peg
Good idea, thanks for sharing.
Thanks will get one. Always getting those thread stuck.
You are one smart girl!!
I use a lint roller on my carpet to pick snipets up off the carpet.
wonderful idea.....I'll do it!!!!
Neat idea.

We used to hand vac our collie. He liked it. |
Thanks for Sharing!!

Wish I had known this at my last house. I took the carpet out of the work room in this house BECAUSE of those thread and pins in the carpet.

Any magnets with long handles for pins?
I would really see a need for that. |
That's a great idea. I use a magic brush on the carpet and also keep one on my table for picking up threads also works great on the cutting mat.
Thanks for the great idea. I hate trying to get all those threads out of my vacuum.
Thanks that is a great idea!

That is a great idea. I've pulled the carpeting out of my studio, because for me it's the dropping of pins that is a problem. Last thing I need is to bury a pin in my foot. (Yes, I've done it, too.)
When i tell people that they think i am crazy. i am glad no one here would think that. lol... I have one in my sewing room and I do use it.
I've used this brush for a long time in my quilting room that
is carpeted. I also use it to get threads off from my clothes... it works great....I keep mine on a hook underneath my sewing cabinet so it is always handy. |
I have a long wand type tool with a magnet on the end ...use
it to pick up pins on the carpeting. I think you can get them at the auto supply store....don't know about hardware store... I have had mine so long can't remember where I purchased it |
To save me bending over, I use a light yard broom for the threads, and it works pretty well.
Why didn't I think of that?
Thank you for this idea! Perfect solution for my sewing space which has shag carpeting and more thread clippings than I care to admit.
thanks I had heard of this before and forgotten about it. It is going on my list right now.
I bought one last week for this reason. It works great. Used it today when I emptied the paper shredder and got some all over the carpet and and it moved all the little pieces to one little pile.
