Lovely pics. Hope no fires eventuate, we are very aware of the devastation they cause. We live in the hills and are surrounded by bushland...beautiful, but can be deadly and so quick.

They are pretty clouds, We were on the bike heading to Idaho 3 years ago, and we fallowed a thunderstorm all the way tell we got into Penoelton, I told hubby I did not like the looks of the storm we were following, so we stopped for the night. The next morning we got into Idaho and stopped at the first rest stop. They said they had 90 mile an hour winds with that storm, and there were trees knocked down all over the rest stop. We thank God we stopped for the night, as a motercycle is no match for winds that strong. God bless. Penny

I am in Idaho. Where I live we have had dry lightning storms for days off and on. At about 10:00 p.m. the sky would light up, and the thunder would make Molly, my mini-poodle bark nonstop. I wish it would rain, but just lightning. There are fires close because at times I smell the smoke.

Last week the fire in Sisters Oregon was contained. We live about an hour south from there. And the smoke still bothered me. I am allergic to pine, makes it worse when it's on fire.
