I look forward to the daily quilting board email and yes I do spend hours because I can't make myself stop...lots of good info and many new friends. Enjoy your day.

Guilty here, and dam_ _ _ it's getting worse LOL. When I first joined the site, I glanced at the discussions for tips, and downloaded a few of the pictures for inspiration. Over time, a recipe would catch my eye; I'd notice a newbie from my area; Someone would be selling something that I might be interested in; I'd notice a link that I just HAD to check out; or something in "chit-chat" would peak my curiosity.
Experts say the first step is to admit your addiction - - OK, OK, I admit it, I'm a QB Junkie. Now get me to a facility where I can enroll in a good 9-step program where I can serve my 28 days and get back to quilting.

I spend way too much time on here every day. I work at a school and actually have some time for this in the summer. I worry about during the school year. Last year I got on here several times before work and was almost late.

Can't go without my daily "fix" of what's new on the Board.

Are you kidding? I have to set a time limit for myself. But the ideas are so wonderful and so nice to see others creativity. My "to do" list is too full and I'm still bookmarking more. LOL

I can't wait to see what is happening on the board. I check it regularly.

I work Sun thru Wed so I'm on and off of here all day on those days but Thur thru Sat; it's a hit n miss when I'm on here. You just learn so much here.

This is the first thing I go to every morning--and several times a day.

Oh Man, I have to read a little in the morning (It's so hard to leave the board) and make myself get some chores done before I read more. On a good day, I do most of my reading just before I go to bed at night.

No you are not alone and I spend way to much time on here, but I most quit now and get some piecing done.

I have gotten so bad about this. I am a teacher, and I am on summer vacation so every morning I have to "catch up" and then I have to check back through the day.

Count me in! I love being on here and check it first thing in the morning and then back again in the afternoon. I enjoy all the posts, pictures - well, just everything! I do need to do some sewing, not to mention housework and yard work. But I'm not giving this up, I enjoy it too much!

I did at first, but no pretty much limit myself to one "visit" each day and no more than half an hour or so. Otherwise, nothing gets done. :lol:

I love this board and the ladies on it. When I have a problem always get good advise. Yes I am guilty of checking it twise a day.:)

Oh Ya! That's me! I hate to miss a post, I get so much out of this site, and have recomended it to a few friends, hope I don't get them into trouble by spending too much time here!

Same here too - I was just thinking this past weekend that if I spent 1-2 hours sewing instead of being at this wonderful board I'd get a lot more sewing DONE!!!

Maybe NEXT month I'll try to do that.....

I'm guilty, too, but part of it is I am waiting for furniture to finish my room. My computer is currently taking up my entire sewing table. I'm cutting out blocks, but not sewing.

I'm not always "on", but I work at a computer so my email is up all the time. I watch topics and get an email alert when someone posts, and of course I click in right away. I also subscribe to the daily digest and use that to "keep up." I only get to quilt some evenings when I get home from work, if I don't have homework to do or lessons to prepare, and if the kids did my... um, THEIR chores...

Addicted ?? Well, I try to come on only late at night. Between 12 midnight til 3 am.

I spend lots of time reading the messages here. I found it when I had surgery and couldn't see to sew. Well, I am still here and don't regret it all all. I have made friends here and found out that several of my guild friends are also here! I tell myself it is okay, as it is educational, social, and helpful to me since I can't drive and get out and about now. I do not watch TV, but I do read!! I love this board and will not call it my "addiction", but you may have to call the men in white coats if you take it away from me.

My problem is sneaking a look while at work. My productivity goes down dramatically when there are a lot of great topics - and my bank account goes down dramatically when there a great "links and resources." Better get back to work - if my productivity goes down anymore I wont have the money to even look and the links and resources.
