We put up our tree this year because the girls are coming home for Christmas if its just the two of us we don't go through all the fuss. I actually bought at Lowe's this year it's a two pack of decorative tree's in a stand already pre lit with mini lights they are beautiful so that's what we will use next yr when the kids aren't here.

I am sorry you don't get to sew but hope you do enjoy the break and the reflective time to think about all the creative projects you will work on next year! ;-)

I have a special project for next year. I found the directions online for a quilt for autistic children that brings a calming effect. I am going to make one for my special great grandson in Kansas City and hope it comforts him. Another special project is a baby-to-be for an expected great grandson who will arrive in Los Angeles. It is hard to be a GG for those you don't get to see often, for another is in Sweden who I have only seen emailed pictures of. You want to give them all a squeeze more often. But Sweden is such a long air flight from San Francisco! Merry Christmas everyone.
