Its not just you. I did the same when the company we office with was flying a very raggedy flag.

Thank you for letting us know about the Boy Scouts and the VFW being able to do an honorable 'retirement' of the American Flag. I never thought about those organizations being able to do so. I'd rather them to that than to burn the flag at home.

And my DH and I are also ones that get upset when we see the ragged flags flying.
