I have been collecting plastic bags for a long time. In fact I found a receipt in one of the bags dated 2005. I started with the idea of after seeing a tote crocheted with plastic bags. Sometimes I would go to a certain place because of the colorful bags. Some of the bags were from trips I took to Brazil and other states in the US. Anyway I finally made the bag. It looks a little wonky but that is what makes it unique. It took as long to make the plastic bag "yarn" as it did to crochet it. I plan on giving it to my DIL as she loves totes.

Recycled plastic bag tote.
