I look at all the scenery as I'm fascinated by everything. I talk a lot and I sing a lot. I love to sing. We take turns driving two hours each. I used to take a puppet and wave at other cars but it's too dangerous any more with so much traffic so Gwendolyn, my puppet, has to stay at home.

We just did a road trip and I worked on my hexagons some. We listened to music. My husband likes to talk ONLY if I am busy doing something else...so it all worked out fine. Must have been smooth roads because I didn't see any blood....:)

I always take a hand quilting project. I have taken Grandmother Flower Garden on long trips and cruises. I also finished the embroidered red work quilt I had been working on.

My DH always does the driving (unless we're on the motorcycles) so I bring a hand sewing project - usually a quilt binding. We listen to music, chatter, snack and play with the dogs. I have to be careful tho, cuz from Denver to Ten Sleep, Wyoming (8 hours/500 miles) he only stops one time for gas, lunch, bathroom and to walk the dogs. :0/
