We hook our laptop up to the TV with an HDMI cable and watch streaming on the TV screen.

To hook up the tv in the bedroom, our wifi is not strong enough and it's actually pretty simple, we just need to clean out a closet and drill a hole from the closet in my son's old room into the corner of the master bedroom. When son left home 10+ years ago, this was the stuff he left behind and says that I can do with it what I will. I just haven't had the will yet. It is about 3 feet of solidly packed closet of stuff that will then be dispersed. Only with the Seattle shut down, thrift stores are closed and my husband has still been working his "normal" 6-7 days a week, 10-12 hour days. Oh yeah, you can't put out extra trash either because the drivers don't have helpers with them.

We will stream, we are technologically able -- both us and the tv. We even have the connections, wireless keyboard/mouse ready. Up until now, it just hasn't been that much of an issue to find 1-2 hours of programming I want to watch each day.

I can find plenty of stuff to stream or watch on the computer, but that's not so much what I'm looking for. I get books downloaded from the library. I still get actual disks from Netflix. I was hoping to get some suggestions on network shows that I've missed but can easily get by On Demand (Comcast).

Do you have Netflix ? 10 episodes of “Good Girls”. 3 women who need money & get in a pickle. Quite funny.

I subscribe to Britbox. I open it on my laptop then attach to the tv with a HDMI cable. It's different and there are no pandemic updates.

Just subscribed to Acorn and love it.

We watch Netflix, Prime, and MLB to see the Yankees but I don't know when that's going to happen. Sigh..........

check out you tube TV. Different than regular YouTube. Lots of news.

Thanks, Alyce, I'll check it out.

We just finished watching "The Roosevelts," a Ken Burns series, on PBS. No special channels needed -- it's on the computer. It seven long episodes and interesting.

I loved The Roosevelts! That was fantastic. Ken Burns never disappoints.

We just watched Broadchurch, a British mystery. The first 2 seasons were good, the last one not so much.

Whew! We got through the Masked Singer and Survivor with no production shut downs. I've found a few crime type shows to start watching, but more things are starting.

Currently I'm catching a lot of Grand Design, Australia which I'm enjoying. Comes on right at my usual afternoon tv break time so that's fantastic because it is Canadian tv station that I don't get in my Comcast on-demand even though I get the airplay.
