I made a dress, the first I have ever made... and It looks terrible... the measurements are right and what not... But I used a light colored thread on a blue fabric... I'll post pictures once it's complete (I have to get an elastic in to complete it... I just need a safety pin to do it...)

I'm hoping to find someone to fix it... lol... if not... I'm sure I can some how disguise it... It's really not that bad... but the last bit I did looks bad... oh well... my next thing I'll have some one make for me.

Depending on who the dress is for and such you may be able to cover some of the thread you don't like looking at.

Look for a decorative trim you can put over the thread lines. That would look fine on hems and such.

If it fits, any other problems can likely be camoflaged with trim or whatever.

Ohhhhh, sorry.
Hoping the material is washable. The dye from your fabric may put some blue tint in the water that your tread will pick up.
When you have the dress on, where are you seeing the white thread? Through the seams from the outside? If so, you might make a second seam with blue thread in these places.
Let us know how it works out.

Use permanent fabric markers. If you post a picture, someone else may have better ideas.
