I thought you would all want to know how very loving, kind and so special I feel quilters are. I quilt with a group of women on Wednesdays. There are about 20 of us, mainly older women (I'm next to the youngest). My family has been very sick for the past 2 weeks and it may extend for my DH and myself for another 4 weeks (due to lung complications).

Several of them got together and one came by my house just now with homemade chili, TP, paper towels, laundry soap, homemade cookies, canned goods, juice, a Halloween gift for our 8 year old son and $200 in cash to help with bills. I'm in tears as I type, Unbelievable that there are such good people in this world!!!

I thought I'd share my special moment :D :D

Oh, now that is very touching! It's so wonderful to hear things like that, when so much of what we read/hear is so negative and critical toward others. Like Mad say, you reap what you sew. I'm so grateful to have met each and every one of them and each one of you also. I've found more than just a quilt related life when I started this hobby. I've found kind, loving, generous, caring people.

Thank you all!! Was at the hospital Sat. - pneumonia in both lungs, now have thrush from the medicine. I'll see the Dr. today at 3, keeping well hydrated and resting as much as is possible for me. Still not at my sewing machine - can't stand too long to cut material.

Hope you get on the mend soon! Pneumonia is awful and then to get thrush on top of that, you poor thing!!!!

Yesterday I went back to the Drs office to see the nurse practioner and she prescribed a pill for the thrush. I laid down for the rest of the day (very unusual for me) and went to bed around 7:30/8:00. Got up at 4:30 a.m. but today I feel soooooo much better!!!! I have some energy, I can swallow and I can breathe!! It seems the medicine worked!!!! :D :D :D I have to be careful tho, I usually do too much when I start feeling better, I don't want to relapse.
