It is still bad here in New York...since our governmental idiots in Albany have been running our state into the groud. Maybe now with a new Mayor things will get better. One can ony hope! Makes for a tough Holiday season for a lot of folks.

He is such a hard worker, always on time, never misses unless really ill (which has been maybe twice in about 5 years), and it's so frustrating to see people who have jobs and not doing them the way they should!

If there is anyone out there who would like to say a prayer for him, please do so. It is so stressful, and he is beginning to feel like a failure.

I will gladly say prayers for him and you too!

Still bad here. We lost a LOT of high tech engineering jobs - my old field of employment, and haven't seen much in the way of replacements, other than minimum wage call center jobs.

In the toilet. People are competing for jobs in lower classes.

No it is not. I wonder if it ever will?

SuziC: Thank you so-o-o-o much! He and I can really use all the prayers we can get. I work at a private school and make about 1/3-1/2 what a public school teacher would make. However, I wouldn't change it for the world. I feel I am where the Lord wants me to be. It makes things so difficult sometimes, but I just have to keep the faith that all will work out.

Still pretty bad here...lots of low-tech jobs...fast food, clerks, etc., but nothing for the educated...and what is there is fading fast!
I think the reason that unemployment numbers are dropping is that unemployment is running out!

:(

this thread is not going to end well.

Some very judgemental terms being thrown about.

We have lost so many jobs here, companies moving, its a wonder anyone is working. I don't think it has gotten any better, we heard on the news a week or so ago that there is no inflation, nothing is going up, not true, everything is going up, water, electric, propane gas, gasoline and food, heard last week even beans, rice and most cheaper foods will be going up. Insurance is going up also, I think it was polical talk because everyone that buys anything at all knows prices are on the rise.

Absolutely not.....Have property in Upper Michigan to build and we can't even sell our house unless we give it away....That is not going to happen. Can't even sell the property.
