Uploading pictures
 

Can someone tell me in a simple manner, how to upload some pictures for the For Sale Forum? I get all kinds of file errors and stuff.

I would like know too. I posted this question hours ago and no one has responed. I was trying to upload a picture and I keep getting file error. I had no problems on the old board.????????????????

go to Home and scroll to the bottom for QB Help Center. There is a title there that specifically addresses posting pictures.

I think one of the most important things to do is make sure you resize your pictures. I size mine down to under 1 mb, and have not had any problems.

I just got my photo to load. Try resizing it.

I keep getting upload of file failed. I can't figure out how to downsize my file. Nothing will let me click on it.

O.K. I went to the QB help thingy and read how to downsize my pictures. I was able to upload 10 before it stopped. So I went ahead and listed them, but now am waiting for approval before they can be posted. I thought we could list up to 15, but I couldn't. Anyway, the whole process was very easy...in fact it was easier than the old board, after I got it figured out. Thanks for all your help. Now I need to find out how come I was cut off at 10.

You might have to resize it before you go anywhere near the board with it. You should be able to resize photos with Photoshop or whatever program you use for all your pictures.

Edited to add: Here is the link to Patrice's directions for how to resize your photos using Paint or Office Pictures Manager. If you have a Windows machine, you should have one of these programs already loaded on your computer.

I printed out Patrice's directions and will try it later. All the pictures I have seen on new site seems a lot bigger than old site. Just keep looking around and reading.
