Several months ago I had an order for 6 aprons. by the time
all was said and done this 1 person turned their 6 apron order into an 18 apron order!. I sold them for $25 EACH! all total I sold 20 aprons that weekend. My aprons were full with adjustable neck straps (I used KAM snaps) a good sized pocket on the upper bib part with a "pen" slot. On the lower part of apron was large pockets with 2 pen slots in the center. I used premium quality muslin to line the apron and pockets. |

shape I wanted after that I taped copier paper together to get one LARGE sheet. (2 pages wide x 4 pages tall). Afterwards I traced the pattern I made on the taped pages, using a Sharpie marker. Below is the pattern I made along with two photos of one of the aprons. Now imagine making 20 of these aprons. PLUS I have orders for 4 more that I have not started yet. http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492943&stc=1 http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492944&stc=1 http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...d=492945&stc=1 |

Here is what I use. It has 3 compartment in the front. One small one for my pen. One for cash - not big bills. One that I keep business cards & notepad in. The back, has a zipper compartment where I put any big bills.

Here is one link: http://www.pinterest.com/source/quil...wordpress.com/ The one I made has two rows of pockets but this is basically the same. I will try to find the link for the other one. Found it! http://www.sugarbeecrafts.com/2011/1...-tutorial.html Here is a picture of one I made. I changed the measurements slightly as we are larger around the hips...LOL... (Hope the attachment shows up - it's been a while since I posted to this board so forget.) |
