I too have sporadic service, but still love Verizon. Have you tried turning it off and back on? Or taking it to one of their service center and having them download updates? There's a way to do it yourself, but I don't remember how.

Ditto, although I have my home phone forwarded to my cell. So at least I get solicitations/pollsters/wrong numbers! rofl!

I understand that cell phone services vary depending on the area you live in. In our area Verizon is the most reliable. I don't use a cell, but have had one in the past, just don't need to be that connected.

Occasionally I had the same problems (and I am IN, also). I just figure that I am in a bad area when that happens. It has not been frequently enough that I have given it much thought, though.

Am a verizon wireless user too - no trouble
Only 2 friends use it and they're both Verizon customers too, so we talk for long chats FREE - can't beat that.

I had a problem where my phone would dial itself and it would be in my purse. It happened only in Walmart so it must be something in the store. I contacted Verizon and they replaced my phone three times with the same brand, I finally went to the Verizion store and they let me pick out any phone I wanted. I did not get a real expensive one as I don't use all the features but the customer service dept. was very helpful and even laughed as did a few customers when I told the my problem. Go to your local store and try and get a new phone, if you contact customer service from your phone you get a re-furbished phone, if you go to the store it is a brand new phone.

I just got a new phone from Verizon, my old one died, it worked great. I thought it was me but now I don't think it is. Some of my calls aren't going through, I have to re- dial . Sometimes I goes through, sometimes not. I get so frustrated. Now I think it's Verizon!
