(I didn't intend a three-brothers theme, by the way! The shows were very different.)

I loved the early episodes of My Three Sons but stopped watching it when the original oldest son Mike (Tim Considine) quit the show and the original uncle/housekeeper, Bub, (William Frawley from I Love Lucy) died. It was a great show way back then.

I can't believe no one has said Little House on the Pairie!
I loved My Three Sons too but it was better before Ernie when Mike was on, hunka, hunka!

I loved all of these and any shows from from that era but, star trek or anything like it. Just me. Waltons is great. I loved Dean Martins show and Red Skelton. Just classy.

Rowan and Martin's Laugh In; Emergency!; and of course, Charlie's Angels. Yes, I consider them vintage. I have lots of memories of watching Jackie Gleason, the Honeymooners, the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour and also the Donnie and Marie show... my dad was big on comedy and variety shows.

Here is another blast from the past I loved: the Gong Show (the original)

My number one favorite: The Carol Burnett Show. Hands-down.

Magnum, P.I., Kojak, Miami Vice, Hill Street Blues, L. A. Law...... I think there's a pattern, here. Oh, Quincy M.E., the Odd Couple.

Make Room for Daddy and That Girl and the Smothers' Bros. and Monty Python's Flying Circus, Rowan and Martin's Laugh In and Saturday Night Live with John Belushi.

Now don't you guys talk about Mayberry, RFD. I happen to live in Mt Pilot, Go to Gilley's Garage, and shop in Mayberry.Don't see Gomer around very much but Barney is always out in the black and white police car. Now he charges for you to take a ride (tour Mayberry), A lot of the people discussed on the show are real people. When I was growing up here, it was like the show in that, people were very nice, caring, and you could always count on your neighbors. Have traveled to most of the states in US; Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and chose to retire back in Pilot Mountain (Mt Pilot) Things are changing. Becoming a bedroom community. So, I don't need to watch the show, I live it. Just come on over and sit a spell. We'll make lemonade. LOL

It is funny that you started this thread today. I was at my Grandmother's today visiting. I go at least once a week and spend several hours. We were watching Dick Van Dyke and I commented that usually Bonanza was on at that time. I guess I'm getting hooked on some of the shows. lol
