Been calling companies to get estimates, boy why are the Male sales reps on PMS??? Had one the day of the quake who was so rude it was amazing. He in not so many words said I better be ready to buy from him if he drove up from North Carolina - he apparently was the rep for NC and VA. What part of I need estimates before I buy did he not get lol.
Do they really think being a bully will get them sales?
Geesh.

Unbelievable. I had an Orkin rep talk to me the same way once. I called his supervisor.

Even the guy from Rebath was odd. He was nice - a personal visit to measure etc., but the antics he tried to get a sale LOL.
He made some pretty far out claims too.

I am tempted to call the company which is in New York, and let them know of his nastyiness.
It was uncalled for. You don't tell people you don't play pricing games, or that they must buy just because you are making a trip that costs gas etc.

Not me either, this guy dug his own grave by being nasty and rude with me only asking for information.

I had re-bath come and give an estimate, 5 grand for nothing speical, I think I could have a walk in done by a carpenter for around that much and have exactly what I want and be thrilled. Re-bath keeps calling and calling like a bad engine even though we have told them we are not ready to commit, check out all options

I had an estimate of $11,000 for a tub, and this was not even knocking down walls etc to get the tub in the bathroom!
Other estimates I have gotten have been around $8000 - $9000.

Now the one super rude guy badmouthed a company that had actually come out, SafeStep, he is coming again on Sept 3rd to give the presentation, he just measured when he came out the first time. SafeStep does acrillic tubs, the Rude one does fiberglass.
I don't know about anyone else but when you badmouth another person, you only make yourself look bad, makes me want to investigate the person or company you are badmouthing to see if what you claim is true.

Deb, I would def. let the company know about their rude salesman. He is probably costing them business.
