This is our wee baby, Jing. Sent the photo to her breeder and she said "I have one of those bowls too, I put lettuce in mine!" LOL

Being weighed with the kitchen scales.

What a tiny thing she is!!!

Ducky 04-14-2009 05:08 PM

OMG! That photo should be published! And, by the way, I've NEVER seen lettuce as cute as that!

live2teach 04-14-2009 05:13 PM

AWWW!

Shemjo 04-14-2009 05:15 PM

Waaay cuter! What a sweet face!

BlueChicken 04-14-2009 05:32 PM

Isn't she just gorgeous. Although.. I have seen some pretty cute lettuce, and I do like green! lol

She's almost four months now, and very small, but she's doing ok.

Moonpi 04-14-2009 05:43 PM

I love those ears!

dreamer2009 04-14-2009 05:43 PM

OH BLUE,
That looks like the face of someone who is going to give you a run for your money. Too darn Cute !!

omak 04-14-2009 06:06 PM

My goodness! The biggest thing on Jing is her ears <g> and probably her voice, eh? She is really cute.

littlehud 04-14-2009 07:06 PM

What a precious baby she is. I like her better than lettuce too.

canmitch1971 04-14-2009 07:38 PM

She is adorable!!!

BlueChicken 04-14-2009 09:22 PM

She's trouble alright! Too darn cute for her own good LOL

Her growth has stalled, which is a bit of a concern. She has a grade 4 heart murmur, which is pretty nasty. So on one hand, we want her to stay small so there's no load on her heart. And on the other hand, we want her to grow so she's stronger.

But she enjoys life, and I'm constantly having to remove her from the cupboards, and the dishwasher, and the shopping bags, and the rubbish bin.....

Mplsgirl 04-14-2009 09:23 PM

Publish that photo! What a sweet baby!

Ninnie 04-14-2009 09:41 PM

So cute Blue

JoanneS 04-14-2009 10:18 PM

I'm trying to decide if Jing is a dog or a Siamese kitty...

BlueChicken 04-14-2009 11:01 PM

Would you like to know what SHE thinks she is, or what she actually is?!? LOL

She is certain she's a mountain lion, while the certificate says she is a Tortie Sealpoint Siamese.
She also does a grand impression of a meerkat, because she has problems with her front legs, so she sits up a lot.

tlrnhi 04-14-2009 11:31 PM

Oh, she's cute!! Hmmm....wonder how I could coax her into a suitcase. lol

BlueChicken 04-14-2009 11:59 PM

All you'd have to do is open the zip a wee way... and she would climb straight in! lol She's SO nosey!

PrettyKitty 04-15-2009 12:02 AM

Ooooh! Too cute! I love her! Send her to me!

Thanks for the tip! I'll try it when I come to visit!
Oh, did I forget to mention that we THINK New Zealand will be on the "trip list" around Sep/Oct timeframe?

You better let me know dude... it's a small country, if you try and sneak away without saying hello I'll hunt you down! LOL

tlrnhi 04-15-2009 12:30 AM

Do you REALLY think I wouldn't tell ANYONE of any of my trips?
I always post my trips on the board. :)
We just need to pin down dates that we can travel. Have to figure out the ship's schedule so hubby can take leave.

BlueChicken 04-15-2009 12:32 AM

Just checking! ;-) lol

How exciting!

tlrnhi 04-15-2009 12:46 AM

The only thing that MIGHT hold us up is the price of tickets. You see....the Navy will be paying for the flight. Since we went from Hawaii to Guam, they have this thing called COTS travel. Continuous Overseas Travel something. Not sure what the last S means. Anyway, we are eligible for it. What is does is gives the entire IMMEDIATE family, thats the 3 of us FREE tickets back to where hubby enlisted from. BUT...if there is a destination somewhere else we want to go and the ticket price is the same or cheaper, they'll pay for that. So, I have to scour dates/times to see what the prices are for WHERE we want to go versus going back to Kansas. I am NOT going to Kansas!!
So, you need to help me along here. What is there to do, places to see etc, in the area. Airports closest to these things and what not.
I don't know anyone here that has gone to New Zealand. They have all gone to Australia. (Cannes)

Continuous Overseas Travel Syndrome? Continuous Overseas Travel Sucker? Continuous Overseas Travel STASH!

That's what it is! lol

Which part of NZ to go to really depends on what you want to do.... shopping is Auckland way (top of the island and the biggest city). If you're into scenery and sporty stuff you want to go to the South Island. If you want touristy stuff like the thermal springs and hot mud pools etc, you go to the middle of the north island (about 3 hours north of here).

Really, everything is pretty close no matter where you are. Or no more than a days' travel.

tlrnhi 04-15-2009 12:57 AM

What I need to do is to get these 2 that are arguing with me about where to go to just sit and do some searching on the internet.
I still REALLY, REALLY want to go to Viet Nam, but neither one of them do, so I'm a bit outnumbered on that.
I did say Bali would be a great trip, but hubby cannot go. Something about US Military and terrorists, the military doesn't allow active duty members to go there.

BlueChicken 04-15-2009 01:01 AM

LOL

Yep... the internet is the way to go. Vietnam would be an awesome trip, it depends on what sort of trip you want. We'd be a lot "tamer" than Vietnam, and the culture wouldn't be so different.

k3n 04-15-2009 01:06 AM

Sorry to interrupt ladies - just wanted to say - cute kitty!!! LOL

Such a cute kitty - hope she grows into those ears. And I hope her heart murmur doen't cause too many problems.

I feel honoured! And aren't those ears gorgeous. We tell her she looks like an alien, or the kids tell her she looks like a satelite dish and we should stick her on the roof! :?

Jing probably shouldn't have survived her birth, but her breeder didn't know about the heart problem and fought to keep her alive. She was just a bit smaller than the others. And now she's such a wee character we don't have the heart to have her euthanased. She's not suffering, so as long as that heart keeps pumping, we'll keep caring for her. It's one of those "each day is a blessing" things.

LOL, my siamese is the same way! As soon as you open a drawer, a cupboard, closet, the OVEN, dryer, forget it, she's in there for sure. I've accidentally closed her in the dryer, and in the bottom drawer of my chest in my room. She does the meer cat thing too :) I guess it's in their nature?

LOL
It must be! I have had photos from her breeder (who is a good friend) of other cats of hers that have climbed into the fridge!
We quite regularly hear a pathetic wee bleat and I yell at the kids "the cat's stuck in the cupboard again, go open the door".

Baren*eh*ked_canadian 04-15-2009 01:45 PM

lol, ours is usually underfoot, so if we hear crying and she's not in the room, we split up and open up all the doors and drawers... silly thing!

tlrnhi 04-15-2009 03:26 PM

My little girl cat has to get into EVERYTHING!
She's jumped in the washer and dryer. Into the oven, in the dishwasher. She LOVES any box that is in the house, no matter what size. If she sees a hole or box, she's in it. She also does the meercat thing.
Her favorite is Hide and Seek. If you lay in bed when she's in the room and put the overs over your head and yell....help me, help me....she'll come running and dig you out. If she's in a box, you sit there and say...where's Nica? and she pops up like a jack in the box. She'll hide on corners and you can pop your head around it saying...peek a boo. She pop her head back around at you and make this loud purr sound.
The silly little girl!

Baren*eh*ked_canadian 04-15-2009 05:35 PM

LOL, mine too!

sewjoyce 04-15-2009 06:13 PM

BlueChicken 04-15-2009 07:41 PM
