What a great visitor (nice Bilbergia too - we call it Queen's Tears). They are such shy, vulnerable creatures, lovely to be able to have one in your garden. We get lots of birds, tiny possums and our most frequent guests are bobtails. Late spring and summer they are everywhere.....they send our dogs into a frenzy. Fortunately the dogs just stand and bark and don't actually touch them. I keep my leather gloves handy to move them into quieter parts of the garden. Great pic and thanks for sharing with us.
