Thank you all for your thougths and prayers. We are fine. The earthquake hit Misawa at a level 4. The house was shaking like a leaf, but no structual damage. Japanese sure know how to build houses for earthquakes. Inside we had a few items broken, but the main thing we are okay. Had no power, no phones, no internet, no heat or hot water for three days. Sleeping at 45F at night is no fun. We still have strong aftershocks and I hope the power will stay on.

SO glad you are ok. My mom still has not heard from her two brothers in the Tokyo area. Have lots of fmaily there. Maybe they will have internet/phone again soon. HUGS

Phone service is still very iffy. Internet is a better option for some. Hope that your family is okay.

OMG so good to hear from you. So happy to hear you are in a safer place. Take care,those aftershocks can be bad in themselves. Will continue praying for you and your countrymen. My husband grew up in Sendai and he is so sad to see the devastation there.
