Weight Watchers?
Does anyone here go to WW? I started back (third time's the charm) last week. This time I am determined to reach my goal. I'm down 3 1/2 lbs so far.... On my way...

You Go Girl! I don't do WW. I eliminated refined flour and refined sugar. Worked for me. I know many people who have had great success w/WW.

we have a monthly thread here

I don't belong to a WW group but I do use their cookbooks. They have some good recipes.

I do WW. Am down 33 lbs, up sometimes, down sometimes. It works if you keep at it.

I was in WW but lost my 51 pounds to be at my ideal weight. I did gain back 4 pounds and have stayed at that weight for over 3 years. Sometimes I cheat and pig out but then I know that I have to watch what I eat for the next few days!!! I think a person just has to make up their mind that they need to lose the weight and stick with it.

In 1972 weighing 159 lbs. I started WW and lost 29 lbs. in four months. I have kept the weight off and now weigh 126 lbs. I weigh in every month and do not follow the diet closely. After all this time, I know pretty much what I have to eat to keep the weight off. I think WW is the best diet ever.

Way to go! Good for you! I don't do WW (or any other diet) but I really, really, really need to do something for myself and DH...I hate carrying around the extra pounds!
Keep up the great work! |
I went to my thyroid doctor a few weeks ago and she works mainly with diabetics. She told me WW used to be good but not to go there anymore. She said that when they added the unlimited fruit, that was terrible. Just telling you what a very good doctor said. Good Luck with your weight loss.
