Well Worth Watching!!!

You've gotta watch this half time event. This is really pretty incredible. And if you think they're good in the beginning, wait till it nears the end! It is unbelievable!!! It's a little lengthy but well worth watching to the end. I can't even begin to imagine the hours of practice that went into each routine! What a great dedicated group of young women!!!

that was FANTASTIC! watched it twice and probably will again....their energy was out of site....wish I had some of it. Would love to see them in person.
They belong on the Today Show.

quiltntoday 06-22-2012 09:01 AM

Couldn't believe how much energy they have! Enjoyed it!

Peckish 06-22-2012 09:05 AM

Now THAT was AWESOME! They don't belong on the Today show, they belong in the Superbowl Halftime show! I'd much rather see THEM performing than Janet Jackson, or Bruce Springsteen, or Steven Tyler!

quiltstringz 06-22-2012 09:29 AM

I agree they should be in the Super Bowl - GREAT show

Arleners 06-22-2012 10:35 AM

I'm exhausted just watching that! How marvelous.

miss_ticky2 06-22-2012 03:32 PM

Wow..that's really great. Thanks for sharing it :)

Kitsie 06-22-2012 03:41 PM

OMG and we think the ballplayers are the athletes?? Thank you so much!

Peckish 06-22-2012 04:12 PM

The reaction from the guys in the audience is fun to watch, also. Obviously some respect and admiration there.

LynnVT 06-22-2012 04:47 PM

Thank you for this! I just sent it to Ellen DeGeneres. Notice how skinny they all are? Can't imagine why LOL. I think I burned calories just watching it.

DogHouseMom 06-22-2012 05:22 PM

Wow! Thanks for sharing that one. I looked up the team and they are the Firecrackers from Kings township school district in Ohio ... 4th through 8th graders.

Pretty amazing young ladies.

Elise1 06-22-2012 05:49 PM

Wow! Wow! Wow!

That's such a cool thing for you to do! I hope they get picked up by her and put on her show! I'd never have thought of doing that . . . Way To Go!!!

My daughter in law was a cheerleader and was always teased about not being a athlete. I'm sending her this.

I'm tired now...just watching!!!

Peckish 06-22-2012 10:06 PM

Ellen probably already knows about it, it's three years old. Still awesome, though.

jitkaau 06-23-2012 03:30 AM

Enjoyed that immensely- a breath of fresh air from cheer leading IMHO.

bjrusty 06-23-2012 03:32 AM

The guys are from the Naval Academy and they surely would appreciate the girls as atheletes.

Barbara Wade 06-23-2012 07:36 AM

Great clip......thanks for sharing..

nms 06-23-2012 01:17 PM

JanieH 06-23-2012 01:20 PM

Loved it! If they were in the Olympics it would definitely be a gold medal performance!

Ziva 06-23-2012 02:40 PM

WOW! Thanks for sharing. These girls are unbelievable.

maxnme01 06-23-2012 03:00 PM

Oh youth, sweet youth. Fabulous. Should be a new olympic sport. If those girls continue to do a very small portion of that routine for the rest of their lives they'll be ship shape with great cardiac health. Whew

nancia 06-24-2012 12:03 AM

i found myself bouncing to the music along with them! whew!! that was really something!! soooo terrific!!

annasgirl 06-24-2012 06:40 AM

All I can say is WOW!!!! They should be on America's Got Talent!

MamaHen 06-24-2012 06:58 AM

I was also thinking that they are all in great shape! Thanks for sharing, I am passing it along.

Rose_P 06-24-2012 07:01 AM

It's fantastic, but whoever is responsible for those kids should not be letting them jump on their knees as they do early in the video. It hurts to just watch that part, and it could surely cause long-term damage. Knees just are not designed to do that!

That is exactly what I was going to say - Give them the National Coverage they deserve - let them perform at the Super Bowl. What a fantastic show they have done. I can't imagine how they can jump rope like that. I can jump roper or should I say I could when younger, but never did master the cross over. It appears to be that they are even using the plastic tube ropes that students use in Phys Classes. They certainly had the approval of the midshipmen and the rest of the audience. They most likely put on a better show than the ball game itself. They seem to range in all ages, or at least all sizes. Great show, thanks for the link Rubesgirl.

onemoe 06-24-2012 10:51 AM

I received an e-mail that the girls are from Ohio and travel with their show.
