I haven't done that but I would expect bake at least an hour...I would google bread machine to oven conversion. Okay, I did this and it said to bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes. Watch so it doesn't burn.
Good luck!

Thanks, I'll try that and let you know how it turns out.

Wow! My last day at school was May 21!

Alicemae3 06-22-2010 05:13 AM

It is already very warm and humid in MN this morning too, but after my walk and Curves I always have cheerios, 3 strawberries and OJ. It's very simple and boring, daily!! ha!

tryitall 06-22-2010 07:54 AM

Nothin' yet>

Alu_Rathbone 06-22-2010 09:06 AM

I had a bagel with cream cheese!

bob1414 06-22-2010 09:14 AM

My usual - Diet Coke and a chocolate chip cookie! Oh, and some milk duds and a piece of red licorice! I don't eat breakfast type foods - don't like them for some reason. While growing up, I had soup for breakfast!

teacherbailey 06-22-2010 09:17 AM

I'm with Bob1414...not into breakfast foods. With a tricky tummy that's not easy to please early in the morning, I eat a ham or turkey sandwich with mayo on whole grain bread....while I check out the latest posts on here, naturally! :)

Alu_Rathbone 06-22-2010 09:31 AM

I'm not either... Eggs for what ever reason tend to make me feel sick... but I'm not allergic to them.

Alicemae3 06-22-2010 12:56 PM

I love my coffee too!

Woodster 06-22-2010 01:02 PM

Oatmeal cooked in 1% milk with a small bit of Smart Balance and Sea Salt. 1/2 container of Light & Fit vanilla yogurt with strawberries and blueberries

mary quite contrary 06-22-2010 01:06 PM

Half a pancake with syrup.

Jingle 06-22-2010 01:27 PM

Since I retired June 2nd, I have a cup of oatmeal W/3-4 packets of Splenda, and 1-2 tsp.s of sugar and cinnamon and 2% milk, to make it kind of runny, sometimes with a tsp. margarine, 1/2 apple and piece of rye toast. Of course about 3 cups coffee. I don't snack much any more.

Would love to have fried eggs, bacon and biscuits or 2-3 slices of toast. I love eggs and could eat them three times a day everyday.

Lynnejean 06-22-2010 02:06 PM

Bowl of fresh fruit usually, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, organic almonds and I pour coconut milk over it all. I drink a nice cup of lavender earl grey organic green tea.

lynsue 06-22-2010 02:35 PM

A hamburger (no-bun & reheated) & some potato salad. Had a yogurt cup about 1 hour earlier. Don't normally eat lunch -- so today this got rid of left-overs & kept me filled up until dinner.

Luv Quilts and Cats 06-22-2010 03:20 PM

I had a blueberry bagel and cream cheese.

ekbuckeye 06-22-2010 03:47 PM

Purplemem, would you please give us your bread recipe? Sounds yummy. Will it work in the breadmaker? I use mine at least 3 days a week.

I had leftover spaghetti about 10:30.

In the winter up North, I fixed my son grilled cheese and tomato soup for breakfast almost his entire school life!

Bread recipe is on page 3, it was made in the breadmaker and is still fresh tasting today!

Janetlmt 06-22-2010 04:25 PM

1 cup of blueberry/acai yogurt with grapenuts added, a cup of cantelope, a peice of whole grain toast with homemade strawberry jam, iced tea. I love breakfast!

Judie 06-22-2010 07:50 PM

boy all that sounds good.. I almost always have a low carb bar of some kind and a glass of skim milk.. no coffee.. perhaps tea.. . but mostly just the milk & bar...

boring. but I don't need exciting when it comes to food. It's quick and I don't have to think about it.

GladGrams 06-23-2010 01:27 AM

Coffee and Cheerios multi grain...

This is the best whole wheat bread I have baked, it contains a half cup of honey. It makes it softer and sweeter, not so coarse tasting.

I have ask for the recipe! That bread sound YUMMY!!!!

* 1-1/2 cups warm tap water
* 1/2 cup honey
* 1 tablespoon oil
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 4 cups whole wheat flour
* 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Measure the ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed. Make a well in the flour and sprinkle the yeast into it. Set the machine to it’s Whole Wheat Cycle. On my machine this lasts for 3 hours and 40 minutes. Press Start, and let the machine work it’s magic. Remove the cooked bread from the pan after baking and allow it to cool before slicing. Makes a 2 lb loaf.

You leave your bread 3 hours and 40 ms in the machine ? Isn't it too much?

purplemem 06-23-2010 11:52 AM

No, that was exactly how long it took. It did the mixing, kneading, baking, etc. Came out perfectly. Whole Wheat cycle.

Alu_Rathbone 06-23-2010 01:39 PM

So a bread machine is like a crock pot, set it and forget it?

We have one, it's just none of us has ever used it! I'll definitely will be making this then! Thank you!!!!

purplemem 06-23-2010 03:41 PM

Yes, set it and forget it.

Set for: Whole Wheat
Loaf: 2 lb.
Be sure and put the ingredients in that order listed.
It makes a difference in the yeast rising.
Your machine will set the timing.

craftybear 06-25-2010 04:41 AM

didn't eat breakfast this morning

mary quite contrary 06-25-2010 05:08 AM

Coffee & biscotti (my morning ritual)

Alu_Rathbone 06-30-2010 06:42 AM

Coco Freaking Crispies (crunchies... I really don't care) I HATE Coco Freaking Crispies... I don't like them! But my sister has once again managed to eat my cereal... Considering she REQUESTED Coco Freaking Crispies... ICK! Then my mom wonders why I eat Oatmeal year round. MAYBE CAUSE YOUR YOUNGEST WON'T EAT IT!!!

Sorry, just a little peeved about the cereal... I'm out of oatmeal, cause my sister threw it all out... "Well, you never eat it." "HOW WOULD YOU KNOW!!!"

I'm going to go make a cup of coffee... maybe that'll settle me down a bit... yeah... ;)

(I'm in a good mood this morning... this was just the tiny upset... I'm good now.)

GrammaNan 06-30-2010 07:08 AM

Two pieces of whole wheat toast with homemade strawberry jam and a glass of OJ.

This is what I would love for breakfast ... not with everything... but yeah... instead i get to eat crappy Coco Crunchies, again... ick!!! But the drink I do have!!! Just in my 101 Dalmations tummy mug (I love when disney has adult mugs of some of my favorite things... now... to get one for Lady and the Tramp, and I'll be happy!)

GrammaNan 07-01-2010 09:25 AM

Nothing, absolutely nothing and I am starving. It is 11:30 am and I got up at 4:40 am. I am getting off of the computer and am going to feed my face. Thanks for the reminder.

Carol's Quilts 07-01-2010 02:38 PM

A cup of cinnamon coffee, leftover popcorn from last night and a banana - not altogether - in between each other - took about an hour.
