I first thought no, I don't cover anything, but that's because I was thinking of specially made fitted covers. I don't have any of those. But I put quilts (not table runners - real quilts) just about everywhere, on the backs of chairs, on top of the piano, and on the tops of dining and end tables. They're decorative, but they also don't show dust like an uncovered flat surface would.

My stash is stored in clear totes on my 3 season porch. I cover them to protect the fabric from sun fading. I have machine covers, but rarely are both my machines covered.
