I drink a huge mug of coffee while I am here in the morning, sip water (I hate water) or hot tea in the afternoon.

Then...have a cocktail in the evening. My FMQ is better after I have had a belt. LOL

Airwick156 01-20-2011 04:05 PM

I drink either water or iced tea. Once in a great while I will drink a diet pepsi, but I make sure its no where near my project just in case it gets knocked over. I usually have it sitting on the shelf.

ConcreteSher 01-20-2011 04:08 PM

I'm now strictly a coffee drinker, but some years ago beer and wine were more my preference! I notice looking back that my quilts were a lot more creative back then, and I was never afraid to try a new technique. Of course, there were plenty of mornings when I was ripping seams wondering what I was thinking the night before!

pittsburgpam 01-20-2011 04:18 PM

I like coffee when I'm working but I put it on the table on the other side of the room from my sewing and working area so I won't spill it. Of course, that means it usually goes cold before I can drink it!

knlsmith 01-20-2011 04:19 PM

Amaretto and diet coke or diet cherry Dr. Pepper. Or wine. Once in awhile coffee. I have no little ones so a cocktail or two is a good thing! :). Once in awhile we make wine-a-ritas. MmmM tasty! :)

Pam B 01-20-2011 04:30 PM

Fountain diet pepsi, or iced tea, or water. I generally sit my drink over on the end table so I won't accidentally knock it over on my fabric or my machine.

carhop 01-20-2011 04:53 PM

i drink hot tea most of the time or water i use a cup that can be closed up sp it won't spill

quiltlonger 01-20-2011 05:51 PM

Coffee with milk- Hot first thing in the morning Luke warm after pot goes off--Cold if I don't finish it or loose my cup Kids get a kick out of me drinking Cold coffee. I hate ICE or pop out of fridge give me room temp koolaid in summer

kbs 01-20-2011 05:52 PM

Coffee mornings, green tea with honey rest of the time.

moonrise 01-20-2011 06:05 PM

A glass of diet Dr. Pepper when I first get up, then flavored water the rest of the day. I do take it with me to my sewing room, but I sit the glass faaaar away from where I'm working. So far, so good. :)

I occasionally have a rum-and-diet soda right before going to bed (it puts me right to sleep - what a "party animal" I am! LOL!), but I don't drink it while sewing. That's an accident waiting to happen!

dgsmom 01-20-2011 06:20 PM

diet dr. pepper

dgsmom 01-20-2011 06:20 PM

Dragonfly Nana 01-20-2011 06:21 PM

Coffee with cream and sugar

mountain-moma 01-20-2011 06:25 PM

Cold Pepsi!(:)

missgigglewings 01-20-2011 06:25 PM

coffee in the morning, hot or iced green tea in the afternoon and red or white wine in the evening. That's my routine and I am sticking to it!

Boscobd 01-20-2011 07:03 PM

Mostly water, but occassional a Cherry Pepsi or a glass of iced tea. I have my "sewing room" in the diningroom and my "cutting room" on the kitchen island. No drinks in the "sewing room" while sewing, but there's counter space across from the island so I have a safe place to set whatever I'm drinking.

gzuslivz 01-20-2011 11:25 PM

Coffee or ice water with lemon.

Flying_V_Goddess 01-20-2011 11:30 PM

I try not to drink while working on projects because with my luck I'll end up spilling something. If I do, then Mountain Dew. Milk if I'm trying to cut back on Mountain Dew.

Edie 01-21-2011 03:39 AM

If I am working in the AM, I like a cup of coffee or tea (Chinese Oolong - Truvia). If I am working in the early PM, I like a Diet-Rite or Lime Diet Coke. If I am working in the late afternoon, I like a nice glass of Mogen David or Chardonnay. I have a lot to do during the day and sitting at my sewing machine is my breathing time, my relaxing time and my own personal cocktail hour!!!! Edie

Juliebelle 01-21-2011 04:52 AM

Diet Dr Pepper, but I learned the hard way to keep it on the other side of the room away from the machine and fabric.

quiltlin 01-21-2011 05:09 AM

As of yesterday I'm going to drink only things that are in a spillproof cup. I usually take my morning coffee or afternoon soda to my sewing room. But yesterday as I was finishing up I knocked the can of soda over and even though it was almost empty it went all over the sewing table ... not on my new machine though or on any fabric....but it was a lesson to me!!!

HisPatchwork 01-21-2011 06:20 AM

Coffee or more often lately, Cafe Vienna in the morning while looking on the board. The rest of the day is water or my 'almost lemonade'. { I call it that because during the summer I used make alot of lemonade, but really do not need all the sugar} I started making an applecider vinegar drink { 2tsp ACV and 2tsp raw honey and about 8oz water} that I was suprised that I ever would actually prefer that over fresh lemonade! I have 2 grandaughters that ask me to make it for them. {10 yr and 2 yr old}
Very refreshing and very good for you too.

bamamama 01-21-2011 06:23 AM

Only water is allowed in my sewing room!

I have very "shaky" hands, so IF I drink anything it will be a bottle of water or a bottle of CLEAR soda so IF I spill at least it's clear! lol

However when I am not working on quilting I am tea all the way!

kittycats 01-21-2011 06:46 AM

Iced tea, bottled water

j 01-21-2011 07:13 AM

Water - Lemonade - Tea but none around my sewing. - J

mhansen6 01-21-2011 07:47 AM

I drink fizzy water or coffee. Both in container that are spill proof. I don't want any accidents on my projects.

mom-6 01-21-2011 07:50 AM

Dr Pepper gal here!

quilter41 01-21-2011 08:07 AM

Ice Tea, Coke (the real thing), and sometimes something a little stronger.

mrs theo 01-21-2011 08:16 AM

I usually drink bottled water or iced tea while working on a project. That way, I can put the cap back on in between sips and I don't have to worry about spilling it on my fabric or machine. I have a tendency to not be the most graceful person in the world

jbj137 01-21-2011 08:59 AM

NO food -or- Drinks ALLOWED
in Sewing Room or Bed Rooms.

I HATE the smell of food
anywhere but the kitchen.

bob1414 01-21-2011 09:55 AM

Fountain Diet Coke - if it's not from the fountain, I don't like it nearly as much.............

ckcowl 01-21-2011 09:58 AM
