My mom always said, Fiddlesticks!, so that what I say more often than not but have been known to use less-than-ladylike verbage occasionally.

I usually just keep my mouth shut so I don't say what I am really thinking. I have been known to say "Well, aren't you just wonderful?" With a bad attitude.

My late MIL used to say "Suckaluckamoll!"
It seemed to work...although I have a hard time not saying "s#$%" when it really is needed.

Flying fartnockers. It has enough syllables to make you feel better when you say it.
That being said, a bunch of scientists did a study to find out if swearing in response to injury or stress made the person feel better, and apparently concluded that it did relieve some of the stress.
They must have been spying on me last time I had to tink back about 15 rows of lace knitting with mohair yarn. :-/

I remember when my mom and her friend used to have sewing nights at our house and they would use the term PO'ed. Didn't know what it meant when I was young and laugh about it when I was older and found out it meant pissed off...lol

"Thank You Very Much" with an evil grin. Basicly it means up yours sideways!

I had a college friend who would say "dirty words, dirty words, dirty words". Worked for her!

My personal favorite is "oh puhdiddle". Or if I'm having a moment of violence "I just wanna knock the poohwahdiddly out of xxxx".

A former roommate would say the Czech word for dish rag. It sounded very nasty! All those consonants...
