I'll admit to being mrs ocd, I quilt in whatever clothes I'm wearing and I keep a lint roller at the door, I also have two german shepherd's which also necessitate the lint roller, lol

Try a mans very large shirt.

I sew in the evenings in my work clothes, jeans and a t-shirt type shirt.
On the weekends I wear the same, only old clothes. I don't sew in night clothes.

I wear leggings around house! There are threads all over! Myself, furniture, hubby, even my kids when they come to visit laugh n pick off stray threads! Lol. part of our charm!!!:-)

I TRY to put my threads in trash can but you know...... To keep from tracking strings all over the house I place a rug at the door of my sewing room and wipe my feet as I leave.

Use a small piece of batting placed on your shoulder to put your threads on. It works nicely.

I had a hone ec teacher that told us we should wear a smock to keep our clothes free of fabric and thread. That was back in 1968, my mom thought that was foolish, so what ever I have on is what I sew in. If there are threads on my clothes, who cares.

How about those medical "scrubs" tops. I've seen solids and cute prints in our local K-Mart. Very economical too.

When I sew I have on my fancy dancing dress with sequins, and my 4" high heals. Full jewelry, and hair freshly washed and done up in curls with spritz. My best evening cologne, and special low light make up. Also my nails are manicured early that morning before I start sewing with the latest nail polish.

J/K :D I wear whatever I want.

If I do not plan on leaving the house that day, after I shower I put on clean PJ's or dorm pants and a tee shirt. My DH and I call it my stealth days. Comfy in our own home. Some may not think it is appropriate, I call it enjoying my day in my world!
