The job hunting has been an everyday thing. I go out looking and applying at places that I think I am qualified to do. I actually got told a few days ago that I was overqualified for one job. I was like , what? I have never heard of that before. Has anyone else heard that before? But...today I got an email from one of the places I applied to about two weeks ago and they have called me in for a second interview on Thursday so we will see how that goes. It is a part time job tutoring kids. Oh plus I turned 33 this past Sunday. :) I too was told once that I was overqualified! I told them I still had to work, of course that was 30 years ago. :lol: :lol: Hope today brings you the job. Happy belated Birthday! Sorry no chickens, and so it goes living in town. 'overqualified' means they are looking for someone younger who will be happy working for a LOT less and be happy about it. they are afraid that you will continue looking for the right job and when you find it you will leave them and they will be back to square one. don't despair. it's right out there and you will find it. or, we will all get together and beat them to a pulp. :twisted: :twisted: |
